Rooted in the rural village of Garzón, Uruguay, and informed by the cultural hybridity of its Miami space, Piero Atchugarry Gallery operates as a platform for exchange, where global narratives enter into dialogue with regional histories. The gallery’s program foregrounds artists primarily from the Global South—including Uruguay, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and South Africa—while also engaging voices from across Europe, Asia, and North Africa, such as Bosnia, Denmark, England, Italy, Germany, Japan, Morocco, Switzerland, and Sweden.
